THURSDAY NIGHT BUBBLY TASTING! Join us tonight, 6-9PM, to taste two Champagnes and a Cremant from Burgundy! And be sure to swing by on Saturday… we’ll be open from 11a to 11p with balloons and bottles poppin’ all night long!
Moissenet-Bonnard Cremant de Bourgogne Brut
Mostly Pinot Noir with a bit of Chardonnay, this is a classic French sparkler with tons of bang for your buck. Made in the same style as Champagne but hailing from Burgundy, this Cremant is medium bodied with notes of almond and red apples. Refreshing and festive! $22
Pierre Brigandat & Fils Champagne Brut Tradition
A “grower Champagne”, meaning the winemaker is also the farmer, so these Champagnes tend to be a bit more ‘terroir focused’ since the grapes are coming from the same estate. The Brigandat vineyard is located in the extreme south of the Champagne region. Brigandat’s grapes are grown in distinctive kimmeridgian soil, infusing the wine with strong minerality to balance the ripeness and boldness of the fruit. 100% Pinot Noir, Tom has officially hailed this the “perfect wine for the holidays”. And who wants to argue with Tom? $40
Jean Velut Champagne Rose
Another grower Champagne… this time the soil on this third generation grower’s vineyard is rich with red clay, giving this organic 100% Pinot Noir a rich intensity. Jean Velut’s Rose is deep red and powerful- black cherry, fresh bread dough, and strong minerality give you a lot to talk about over every glass. Meg, a lover of all things pink and bubbly, is been a big fan of this unique sparkling and ordered tons of it. We think you’ll love it, too. $65
