I’ve been drinking more wine at home now that all the parties have quieted down and going out seems more like a chore than a good time. I realize how much more I enjoy the wine at home than I do out… and here’s why… most restaurants (even the fancy ones) serve red wine too warm. I keep my bottles in the coldest room of my apartment which is practically outdoors. The wines are cool and fresh tasting, not warm and dusty. I just hate spending a lot of money on a good bottle of wine and then having to ask for an ice bucket to chill it down so that it’s drinkable… but that’s what I would recommend you do. Please keep your wine as cool as possible and if you need to, throw the bottle in the fridge or ice bucket 20 minutes before drinking. You’ll see what I mean.
