We discovered this miracle at a barbecue last summer where an Italian friend made us lemon ice by hand. Wine was flowing, and someone poured some over the lemon ice. A star was born!
We tested it recently with lemon sorbet from the store and it was every bit as amazing as we remembered. We recommend a fresh and fruit-forward red, like a Gamay, poured over one scoop of lemon sorbet, float style. Revelatory!
