ART OPENING: GAIL PEACHIN
Tuesday, Dec. 3, 6-8 pm
Please join us tonight, 6-8 pm, for a celebration of the beautiful and haunting collages that will grace our walls for the month of December! Our artist, Gail Peachin, Lily’s amazing mom, splits her time between her beautiful old farmhouse in the Catskills and Fern, her eclectic antique store in Hudson, with visits to Brooklyn peppered in for good measure. This is her second December show at Dandelion, and her pieces make pretty amazing gifts for anyone on your list or your own bare walls. We’ll have plenty of wine and treats, and Gail will be here to mix and mingle!
New drawings by Yuko Oda at Dandelion Wine
Opening Reception March 6, 2013, 7-9 pm
Can you feel how light a dandelion seed really is?
floating… through the breezy air…
And, with enough time, heaviness builds,
even with the most delicate of petals
soft whispers, gold spritzes,
cosmic bursts, and gentle caresses…
The stars and moons are dusting,
to help us find the way…
Our friend Yuko is an artist who has been studying and drawing dandelion flowers for a long time and when she moved to Greenpoint, she immediately vibed with the shop and wanted to collaborate! We’re so happy to have her work up through the end of March! Come have a drink and celebrate with us tonight!
PAINTINGS BY TIERNEY OBERHAMMER
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 8-10 PM
Join us tonight for art, wine, and treats in the shop!
Join us Wednesday, 8-10 pm, for an extra special reception for photographers Will Boisture, Anastasiya Konopitskaya, and Drew Oberholtzer! The trio took a series of eye catching photographs during the blackout after Hurricane Sandy, depicting the eerily empty New York City streets. We’re thrilled to have their work hanging in the shop this month, and all proceeds from the sale of their prints will benefit the Rockaways Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. So please come by for a glass of wine and to check out the photographs!
Come by and spy on the sweet new art in the shop from illustrator James Bellizia!
We’ll be partying with him here tomorrow night, 7-9 pm!
PARTY TIME TONIGHT!

Tonight we’re gonna party ‘til we just can’t party no more… join us for our weekly tasting, from 6-9 pm, as we taste two organic reds made by Gilles Louvet in the South of France.
Then, from 9-11 pm, we’re gonna keep it going, toasting painter Michael Farmer, who’s work has been displayed here for the month of October.
